'What a fantastic relaxing stay at these private cottages in the quiet rainforest. We have travelled extensively over the years & can count on one hand the amount of venues we would give a 10 out of 10 rating. This is the only one in the last few years! The fastidious cleaning is beyond appreciated and the home baked sourdough & jam, ample tasty breakfast, luxurious towels, robes, bath products & bedding are just a cut above. Even chocolates, nuts, a tipple of sherry & afternoon tea - wow!...

'A lovely room with a nice view. We stayed on a Tuesday night so there were very little eating options available as the restaurant was only open Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Also quite strange as our TV randomly turned on at full volume twice during the night so had to unplug.'

'Clean, quiet and surrounded by nature. Bed was comfortable and the room had everything I needed.'

'It’s nice to not have reception and just spend time together, we’ve always loved montville, Kondalilla is beautiful and the food at the restaurant is pricy but so worth it!!!'

'Big appartement.'

'Great food, amazing gardens , welcoming staff'

'Unbeatable location with far reaching views. Great breakfast hamper, comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen.'

'We were originally shown a room on the ground level but its bathroom was very small and water damaged and old. We then walked downstairs to a renovated room which suited us much better. It was quiet and had a lovely view.'

'The property is in a great location for the local restaurants and walks. We met Mike on our way out in the afternoon and he was really friendly and gave some good advice as to where to eat some local cheese. The bed was really comfortable with a good range of tea and some good coffee. The biscuits were a nice addition as well. We loved our stay here and were fortunate enough to see some Platypus which was a real highlight.'

'Clean room . Everything we needed. The mattress was foam tho. 🙃 also we didn't know where to find the WiFi details so we jst hotspoted from our phones- was only one night so wasn't a big deal.'

'Lovely retreat with thoughtfulness written all over! Bed was comfortable. The little pantry was handy. Breakfast was beautiful. Pool with hot tub was a nice touch. Most importantly staff was five-star quality! '

'Convenient lift system with popular public hotel dining downstairs We have stayed before so now the layout and key system, this time from the hotel staff.'

'A disappointing stay from arrival onwards! Small motel rooms that have been updated but not value for money.'
