The room was in nice condition, the check in was fine. The issue i encountered was trying to access the hot water in the bathroom. i'll spare the details, only to say that after almost giving up on the concept of a hot face wash and or shower, i called the front desk to bring this issue to their attention, thinking hot water in a hotel is important to most paying guests. The manager arrived shortly after the call and was able to determine that the sink faucet diverter had been installed in reverse..hot on the right, cold on the left!!... Was I the only staying guest in this room that every requested hot water? Isn't hot on left/cold on right a universal orientation. Well, shortly after, i was able to have my shower, with hot water, and move on about my day, but i'm serious, this should be considered an embarassment for the hotel, this should not be a call to the front desk that should have happened. Who does the plumbing there? Who checked it? Was the repair performed right before i got there at 8pm on the 26thDec? Was i the only paying guest who noticed this? Nice hotel , but some additional attention to basics are lacking? Best, John
