'Our four night stay at the Masons Arms was a dream come true. We first saw the pub/hotel 49 years ago and were delighted to finally have an opportunity to stay here. The room was wonderfully cosy in the inn and its recent updates were much appreciated. The shower was great and the towel heater was a treat for this Canadian! 'The hotel is a very old coaching inn, full of character, and very well maintained. It is well situated for both Sidmouth and the Donkey Sanctuary. The room had a lovely bed, in a fair sized room. The en-suite was very nicely appointed. Our room was facing the road so there was some traffic noise. The food was excellent and the staff were all really attentive and provided a great service. Overall we had a lovely stay at the Blue Ball Inn, Sidmouth. '
