'We like the historic nature of this hotel but feel that it needs some TLC. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We ate breakfast in the dining room once. The food was fine, but the floor was dirty under tables and under the sideboard. It had been swept by the evening meal which was very good. Instead, there was a sign to call a phone number and the owners in the next house came over to show us to our rooms then left us. We were the only people in the building until we called again for breakfast the next morning when he came over again to make it. There is no pub as the pictures would suggest. This is a 6 room b&b with owners next door situation not a hotel/motel.'
