Villa Phaistos

The Villa Faistos View is a traditional and cozy villa located in the traditional village Agios Ioannis. It is very close with view to the antiquities of Faistos. The area is really quite in the heart of Messara plain and easily accessible from all beautiful surrounding sightings and beaches. It is a two-storey villa with two separate apartments, and can be reserved either as a hole or separately with maximum capacity 7 people. The ground floor apartment accommodates up to 4 persons while the balcony apartment up to 3 persons. Each apartment has 1 fully equipped kitchen, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with a Shower, balcony and a beautiful garden. The Villa is suitable for families as well as for young people. Agios Ioannis, is a traditional village, built in the tracks of ancient settlement of Faistos. It is a place with friendly locals where life never stopped from the era of Minoans to today, with the traces of the history to be visible around. The Villa is located close to well known beaches such us, Kalamaki with the impressive beach appropriate for kite surfing, Matala where you will have the opportunity to see how the 'hippies' used to live inside the caves in the decades of 70' and Komos, with the impressive long beach, where you will have the chance to observe the sea turtle (Caretta caretta) track on a beach. Agiofarago gorge is also nearby and worth visiting. Finally in the area you can find high quality traditional Cretan food, where you can taste the local products.
