Family Getaway

This is a great place to get away and relax. It has everything that one needs for a great vacation. One doesn't have to leave the property to enjoy the property. The lake was great for swimming, fishing and paddle boating. Everything the one needs is right in one location with plenty of room for everyone to find something of interest. Plenty of games for family time after dinner. Would visit the location again if in the area. The host and his family were great. Would recommend to others visiting the area.

Perfect for Multigenerational Family Gathering

The owner was very friendly, helpful, and communicated well throughout. The property was exactly as described and was perfect for a multigenerational family gathering. It’s a large beautiful property with plenty to do onsite. Everyone loved paddling and swimming in the lake, hanging out in the various large rooms and using the amenities in the commercial kitchen. We will definitely stay again when we need a place to sleep a large group in the area. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place

We had a great time, the property is beautiful, the lake was a great time, the kids really enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and swimming. We stayed during the 4th of July and the host gave us a great fireworks show. Very family friendly.

ABT TOURNAMENT

This was by far our best rental on tour this year and previous years. Plenty of room for all guest will plenty of parking. There was also a lot to see entering and leaving the property. We will definitely be back. The host was more than accommodating on all our needs.

So fun!

We had a blast! Lots to do for everyone. Great facility for a crowd. Excellent communication from owner and caretaker. My only comments are that the twin beds are not comfortable and the entire facility is quite old. But we didn’t mind too much because it was completely functional and pretty clean too. We will come back here !

Reunion/wedding

We had a great time, the property is beautiful, private and clean. We had a family reunion and wedding all at the lodge. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and addresses any issues immediately, “not that we had many”. The lodge is beautiful and well maintained. I recommend Hawkins Ridge for any event, contact the owner he will do everything in his power to make your event special! I would give it 10 stars if I could. I would like to thank the owner and his staff, we had suck a great time, Thank You!

Birthday at Hawkins Ridge

We celebrated a family birthday with a total of sixteen family members. We thoroughly enjoyed the fishing boats, paddle boats, canoe, paddle board and kayak. The grandchildren enjoyed fishing and swimming. The water was surprisingly clear! The owner was very accommodating. It was a great weekend!

Church Youth Retreat

We found Hawkins Ridge lodge on VRBO when searching for a place to host our church youth retreat. This place is HUGE and perfect for large parties. The kitchen/dining area made meals time super easy and functional. The lodge living room area made an awesome place for our nightly Bible studies. The game room was a hit for everyone there. The private lake made for fun mornings while being close to Lake Eufaula made for fun afternoons! Our two littles enjoyed adventuring around the property with our youth group and playing on the playground. The wild animals were so fun to watch and enjoy. Overall, 10/10 recommend this lodge. We will be returning!

This is our 2nd year coming to Hawkins Ridge!

This place has been a great place for our friends group 6/7 couples to come for a full long weekend. We love the privacy and location of the place. It is so peaceful. Beautiful area! We do enjoy getting everyone together around the fire pit at night after a fantastic dinner cooked in the commercial size kitchen. No need to bring anything but your food. It is fully stocked with all the equipment you need. We have been fishing and enjoying the animals that are on the property as well. Mr. Hawkins, family and staff were very helpful. Just wonderful people. We certainly have enjoyed our visit and look forward to coming back next year again!

Our 2nd stay and already booked for next year!!

We live this property! The owner treats you like family! The peacefully slow and steady pace is amazing. The animals on the property are the highlight of every day for our children! The only thing I would like to see changed/update, would be the locks on the doors to the outside access of the house. That's it. There are some minor repairs that need to be done to the property, but nothing that would keep us from returning in the future! Thank you so much, Mr. Hawkins, for being so welcoming to our family!

Hawkins Ridge Wedding

Our experience with Hawkins Ridge was nothing short of perfect! The lodge was spotless and ready for us to use as soon as we arrived and the owner was always close by to check on us throughout our stay. We had our wedding out there and it was everything we dreamed of! Spacious, clean, accommodating for everyone out there, and there were quite a bit of us! We enjoyed every part of our stay. We had the our wedding dreams come true!

The Great Getaway

This place was fantastic for our family getaway and the perfect venue to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday. Tons of space so everyone could spread out in the lodge. We had plenty of room for the celebration with the invited guests. The host made everything go very well form check-in to check out. From the exotic animals on the property, access to the private pond and great sunsets, it was an excellent getaway. Nothing like country living in a great lodge with so much privacy.

Awesome get away

22 family and we made all our meals in the large kitchen and ate together in the dining area. Beds for everyone even though some of the kids slept on the couch, large living room. Beautiful lake with paddle boat, kayaking, fishing boats with trolling motors and a boat with AC to cool off in and play games. Craig , the owner was awesome, only a phone call away very friendly and welcoming and his son Jake took us to see the animals . We made family pictures on the front porch and the tractor in the yard, turned out beautiful. A very relaxing vacation for everyone. Great family time.

The perfect quiet get away!

We loves our stay at the Lodge! We had 4 adults and our 12 children ranging in ages from 7 to 21. What a great time!! The pond was perfect for everyone! Our children begged to see the animals multiple times a day! Each morning I just sat on the front porch drinking my coffee enjoying the the peace of the place. The owner, Mr. Hawkins, treated us like family. Even his employees on the farm were beyond friendly. He did ask us if there was anything we would change and the only thing I had to say was, because of us having all the children there, I would like the locks on the doors to the outside of the lodge to work. That's pretty much it. But despite that we absolutely felt safe, that wasn't an issue. We loved it so much, we've already booked our next trip there and we can't wait!
