« I got to the hotel front door and it had been closed for 3 months as they were refurbishing the whole building. Nobody had told me about this during the reservation, which was prepaid by the way. It took me one hour and a half on the phone in 3 different languages to find out I needed to go to a hotel next door where my room was waiting. Nobody (Hotels.com nor the 2 hotels) had sent me a message to let me know the change. I was very tired when I got there and this precious lost time made me miss...

« When we arrived at the front desk to check in, we were greeted by several members of the staff. One of them asked where we were from and what brought us to Tulsa. My wife mentioned that it was her birthday and that we’d come for a shopping trip. As soon as they heard it was her special day, they handed her a tote bag and invited her to fill it with anything she wanted from their lobby commissary. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a wonderful start to her birthday getaway. »
