Bienvenue à Côté Terre

This new accommodations are located in the heart of a fishing village, 10 minutes from La Rochelle and 15 minutes from the bridge of the Ile de Ré. The house "Côté Terre" consists of a living room with sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with walk-in shower and a separate toilet. Upstairs, there is a beautiful bedroom with a king bed. The adjoining mezzanine has an office area and a single bed as well as a relaxation net that overlooks the kitchen creating a unique relaxation spot!
The mezzanine is under the slope, the bed is preferable for children.
Linen: sheets and towels can be provided at an extra cost on request (€15 per person including a pair of sheets and a kit of 2 towels). Beds will be prepared. Dish towels and bath mats are provided in all cases. The coffee machine is a Nespresso with a metal capsule. A small grocery store (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, coffee, tea and sugar) is available on site, very useful for short stays.
Esnandes has basic shops: bakery, grocery store, tobacco bar, pharmacy and a post office. They are all within walking distance (less than 3 minutes). There is a market on the square every Friday and Sunday. A seafood restaurant is open all summer long by the sea. Many coastal paths run along the bay of Aiguillon where you can admire the plaices and taste oysters. The fortified church and the shellfish farming museum are worth a visit.
A bus line passes near the house to go directly to the Place de Verdun in the city center of La Rochelle every hour. The bus is free every first Saturday of the month, much easier to discover La Rochelle without the constraints of parking.
