Hôtel près de Enger Tower (Duluth)

« I purchased a Lake side king superior room thru Expedia and was assigned Rm 202 which is a lakeside corner room. The view is somewhat obstructed (30-40%) by the one and only tree on the lake side. I also stayed there last year and was assigned the same room. Is this because I booked thru Expedia? I also had booked another room for our friends. They were assigned Rm 302 which was above the tree and the view was great. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Excellent location, view of the lake...

I didn’t receive check-in instructions and had to call for those when I arrived but the staff were super helpful and even got my room ready early as the weather was dreadful and I had my dog with me. « Parking situation is very poorly explained and set up. The street markings out front appear to show that you can’t pull up, stop or unload at the main lobby door, and there’s seemingly no concierge. The actual parking garage is on the far side of the block on a one way system, we had to go around twice before we were able to identify the correct access point. Then - the walk just to the lobby to check in, with luggage, is about 300 yards via a bridge, another locked bridge with an intercom, down...

« We booked on a busy weekend, so ended up with a room with no windows. It wasn’t bad. Huge room, with doors that opened to corridors on both sides of the room. Perfect location in Canal Park. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Free parking, and Breakfast was included too! »

« Virtual staff was super helpful and pretty responsive to all my questions and concerns. A lot to do in the area and less than a 20 minute drive anywhere. Only thing is if you’re a light sleeper bring an eye masks, ear plugs and your own blanket. Love the natural lighting the rooms get but if you’re wanting to sleep in there aren’t any black out curtains and walls are very thin, you can hear everything and the blankets that are provided are pretty itchy and thin. « There were stains on the carpet and the elevator were slow. The internet might was well have been nonexistent. I tried talking to the staff about that but got no where. The beds were at least clean and while small the rooms were adequately comfortable. The jacuzzi didn't work and the pool lines seemed loose. The saving grace was the view. The veiw of the Harbour and the lake were incredible. »
