Vakantie en citytrip naar Up the Neck

This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic.

We stayed on the ninth floor oceanfront, and the view was absolutely spectacular! The room was definitely big enough to hold six people. when you first walked in there was a couch with a kitchen and a table. I didn’t get the full view of that part of the room, but I got some of it. Staff was very friendly, check-in process pleasant, the hotel was very clean and smelled very nice. The overall appearance of the hotel and the rooms in my opinion was very nice. I will agree with the other reviews about the parking spots, being very tight and the swimming pool. The swimming pool is definitely not big enough if you were looking to relax and lounge unless you get up and go put a towel down and then go about your business. Definitely not big enough by any means. We had plans other days but two of the days we rented a cabana on the beach because there were no spots at the pool. It was so relaxing on the beach! The restaurant was very nice, but not for my family. There was a lot of seafood and my children do not eat seafood so we ate out for dinner. Shorebreak pizza and Taphouse down the road from the hotel an absolute must! Our overall experience at this hotel was very pleasant and we enjoyed our stay!
