'This is a lovely property for a large group or family reunion. We had a family of 11 for a week. The 8 bedrooms were terrific, all with their own bathrooms. The view and area is spectacular. The walk to the common amenities in the valley could be challenging for some. Host was willing to take us on an ATV. The Galena area in general is beautiful and we had fun in town, zip lining, doing the coasters at the ski hill and just hanging out.'

'This property offers the luxury of a resort with the down-home experience of a ranch. Peaceful, gorgeous views - especially at sunset from the "Quiet Rock" deck. Or the sunrise from the swing near the Main Lodge. Mark is a gracious host who shared his love of the property by introducing us to Waffles, the donkey, Flowers, the cow, & numerous other animals. 'A terrific getaway for an extended family.........Our family (all four generations) enjoyed this property on a recent weekend. The grounds are extensive, covering several acres. The main house sits elevated high above an extensive meadow. It has suites on 3 floors and we used all 3 floors but only the main kitchen (there are two others). We used the basement and second floor for the bedrooms only. The main kitchen opens up to a large dining area/gathering room with enough seating room to...

'We enjoyed the hot tub and our "log cabin" themed room. We felt the price was a good value. Breakfast was adequate. The body wash empty. Note there is no elevator if that is a need. Friendly staff.'
