This house is advertised on VRBO as a house that sleeps 12 with four bedrooms.The fourth bedroom was in the basement, had no dresser, or end table and the bathroom looked like a gas station bathroom, with a hole in the wall that adjoined the room where we were directed to put the garbage. Eight people for 4 days is a lot of garbage. There should have been access to a shed or garage to put the garbage, not in the room next to a bedroom where we slept. I also had to fold towels that were left in the dryer when I went to do a load of laundry.The barbecue was dirty and not even a BBQ.(it appeared to be a griddle) We could barely use it.The living room also served as the dining room, whereby there was a folding table and folding chairs for our use that took up most of the living space. No other indoor common area for us to utilize. The shared living/dining room certainly does not accommodate 12 people and we were extremely uncomfortable with only one couch and one chair to relax or gather in, and having the folding table in the middle of the living room prevented us from having any living room area in which to play, dance or whatever.Due to the growth in the lake we were unable to swim. For the price tag of over 5K for four nights, we should have had a much better experience. For that kind of money, we should have had an amazing house and not one complaint. This rental was completely below the quality that was expected.
