'We stayed for 5 days in this luxury hotel. Beautiful pool, and that was the best of our stay. This place can be very nice but needs a lot of upgrading to be real 5*. The rooms are cheaply decorated with a luxury touch. If you pay 275 euro per room per night you would expect a luxury bathroom with a bath and rain shower. There was only a simple handshower which you can expect in a hostal. Also the toilettries, cheap ones and the carton boxes of toilettries were full of fungus inside. Although...

'The hotel was conveniently located two blocks from the beach with a roof-top bar that overlooks the bay. The staff was over-the-top accommodating, food was great and 2 for 1 happy hour drinks. TV was modern with streaming, internet was reliable. The room was comfortable and clean. Downsides, coffee maker in the room didn't work (but in all fairness we forgot to mention it), bed wasn't super comfortable, rooftop bar wifi disconnects you hourly, and parking was scarce but they valet for you if...

'The bedside lamp doubles as a phone charger and has a switch so you don’t have to get up to turn it off. Small thing, but I loved it and slept better than I have in a long time. The sea view room faces Bacuit Bay. It’s close to the port, so it’s a sea view but not quite a beach view. The hotel can arrange motorbike rentals and island hopping tours, though there’s no breakfast included. All things considered, Z Garden was the most comfortable place we stayed during our entire El Nido trip.'

'Nice hotel in a good location. Walking distance to the busy streets, just far enough to be more quiet than the rest. Essentially there was nothing wrong with the hotel/rooms, but a bit of renovation will be needed soon. Had a great stay, extremely helpful and friendly staff - will recommend it. '
