« Had the same room as last time and as usual it was imacculate. The food again was excellent, but what makes it for us is most definatly the staff, from the hotel manager to the waiting staff from the bar staff to the housekeeping team, the front of house, the chefs every single one of the staff is friendly, polite and just make the place feel so homely another excellent stay. »

« We stayed for 3 nights in the executive room. The room was immaculate, huge bathroom and cozy. It's a family run property, they were very friendly and helpful with suggestions of where to visit. The breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. A special thank you to Michael, who greeted us every morning with such positive energy. »

« Très décevant comme séjour. L'insonorisation est POURRIE (style feuille de carton) et les deux nuits nous sommes en plus tombé sur des fêtards qui profitent du fait qu'il n'y a pas d'employé la nuit pour se promener partout dans le lobby et corridor en faisant claquer les portes. Le matelas serait dû pour être changé, on ressentait tous les ressorts.. Bref, le seul point positif est le magnifique paysage entourant le lodge et le très bon petit-déjeuner (par contre on doit payer, non inclus). »

« We had a fantastic time at the Royal Oak. All of the staff were really nice and looked after us. We stayed in Room 15 which is on the top floor and is nice and cozy, very clean and had aircon. The complimentry tea, coffe and water was good quality along with the bathroom products which were also available at the shop in the main square. Breakfast was 10/10 in terms oif quality (locally sourced) and choice. »
