'Was unsure if had to bring our own bedding but bed was made up for us. Great stay, surprisingly comfy beds for a single bed. Pizzas were stunning and breakfast was great too.'

'To my surprise was the only guest during my stay. The hosts were kind and considerate. The room is small but tidy and in well maintained condition. Separate shower which is a bit basic but sufficient, the bathroom is en suite though. There is also a drawing room which you share with a lodger, a bit old fashioned but still nice. Breakfast gives you a choice between continental and full English breakfast in a very nice room. '

'This is such a lovely place to stay, quirky and interesting decor, great food and amazingly helpful and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely stay here again, though will ask for a room nearer the ground floor next time as the stairs were tricky for the dodgy knees.'

'It was difficult coming from Monmouth.It said road closed when you turned left at Aldi.Spent 15mins trying to find another route.Phoned the hotelier and he said it was blocked but you had to turn left and ended up in a narrow track with no passing room.Roadworks are finished next week.'
