Hôtel près de Église St Giles (Wrexham)

« It was too cold in this hotel, the heater started at 5 pm and stopped around 9 pm. And then from 6 am until 9 or 10 am, so it wasn't enough for this kind of room in a this kind of hotel with bad insullation, only a simple glass window. The maximum temperature was 14°C. I sleept with pullover !!! And particulary in the shower room with only 12 to 14 °C I will never be in this hotel. »

« Stayed overnight on Friday after attending the festival at Bolesworth. Beautiful property and Heather the host was really lovely. Fabulous home cooked breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return x »

« We had a lovely stay. Our room was perfect for us….lovely comfy bed and a small courtyard where we had dinner delivered! We were lucky that the weather was very warm too. Our dogs were very happy and calm and safe there . I would happily recommend this room (2) for anyone travelling with dogs. Thank you Wynnstay and staff, you made our trip really comfortable. »

« Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...

« The location of the property is fantastic. The biggest disappointment was we stayed over a very hot weekend and there was no installed air-conditioning therefore a Mobile Aircon unit was brought to the room but it didn’t work and the room was absolutely sweltering all weekend. We couldn’t sleep during the heat and it spoilt our stay. »

« Super friendly welcome by the hosts. The room was large and comfortable and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the horses. The pub in the village was about a 5 minute drive away and was fantastic. »

« A great place to stay only 10 minutes from railway station and a further 10 minute from town centre. All the staff friendly, helpful, welcoming and advising of walks, bar/restaurant. Around the corner of the B & B is a street with many small shops, bars, cafes, restaurants and mini markets. »

« The Staff were very helpful including finding us a new room when the first was too noisy (David). Including a complimentary breakfast to make up for our inconvenience. Sadly the hotel has become dated needing refurbishment of bathrooms, plumbing and general modernisation within its historic and lovely interior. Very sad to hear of all the Staff being made redundant. »
