« Nice old historic building with the quirks of charms to go with it. The beds were very comfortable and the room had fans to help with the heat of the summer. Classic style pub attached to the property and a decent sized pub garden to go with it. Staff were very helpful and friendly throughout. I think this was the stand out part of the stay. Had the carvery on one of the night there and have to say it was superb. Would definitely consider stay here if in the area, or going to the Royal Welsh...

« The hosts are helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable, with a great view, and a private bathroom close by. There was a kettle in the room, with tea, coffee, fresh milk and drinking water. The dining room is quite grand, with another excellent view. We could help ourselves to fruit, juice and yogurt, the bread had just been made, and the cooked part of the breakfast was also excellent. Parking is next to the house, well away from the road. We will be back if we stay in the area again. »

« The proprietor Andrew was lovely made me and the dogs very welcome. The breakfast was delicious and the marmalade, jam and compote was home made. Lovely walks around area. Would recommend. »

« We arrived later in the evening and were warmly welcomed. A table had already been reserved for us in the dog friendly area.. The dining offering was superb and beautifully presented. Nothing was too much trouble. Probably the nest hotel stay we've had in many years of travelling. »

« A comfortable and enjoyable stay. Room was clean comfortably and so cosy! We were made to feel so welcomed and they kindly accommodated a veggie breakfast for us. The breakfast was lovely with fresh foods and lots of local produce to choose from. We even got a tour of the place! Would highly recommend a stay here. »
