'We stayed in the Windsor suite with the jacuzzi outside and had a lovely stay. The staff were very polite and informative. The hotel is very scenic and has a view of the lake. The suite was very spacious and was very well equipped. The restaurant on site offered a wide variety of food to a very good standard. We would have loved to have stayed longer and will definitely stay again.'

'Helpful staff, basic clean room.'

'Bit of a gamble as we’d never been before but was booked as a last minute weekend away without breaking the bank. Excellent communication post booking and a very warm welcome upon arrival from Julia on reception. Room was clean, bed extremely comfortable and a decent selection of emergency toiletries. Good parking. Relaxed breakfast with a variety of tasty choices. Would definitely stay again if in this area.'

'Very friendly with good home cooked food and excellent beers.'

'Non-contact hotel offering good facilities for stay in Oakham. Comfy bed, very nice washroom and basic appliances. Good value for money'

'The staff were amazing, couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were superb, a really comfy bed and excellent shower. Cracking breakfast 😋and again the staff were awesome. The only downside was paper thin bedroom walls! We were treated word for word to next door’s phone conversations at all times of day!!'

'The rooms come with the charm of an old building, so you will have improvise a little. But possible disappointment by entering the premises is immediately forgotten after meeting with the owner/hotelmanager and tasting the food he serves. He really cares about people and makes you soon feel at home. Value for price too!'

'Alles perfect! Personeel zijn ongelooflijk lief en altijd klaar om zelfs het verhaal van het hotel te vertellen en een rondleiding te geven. Echt goed en wij komen zeker terug!!'
