'The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. 'Wonderful stay, special thanks to cheryl, the lovely breakfast lady '

'Prettig hotel, goede kamers. Lange gangen met veel deuren en trapjes. Vooral met bagage een heel gehannes.'

'I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again.'

'Prettig hotel om te verblijven, goede faciliteiten. Badkamer was wat aan de kleine kant.'

'Good clean property, staff very friendly. Very accommodating for pet.'

'Although much about this property is dated, the warmth of its welcome, the high quality of its food, and the ease of parking (for £4 a day in the carpark across the road) make this a five star stay.'

'Lovely location'

'Personeel was behulpzaam en goed. Hotel op zich was goed. De locatie was zeer teleurstellend. Wij zochten een hotel op loopafstand van het centrum. Dit was ons ook toegezegd. Dit hotel lag aan een snelweg en was alleen toegankelijk met een auto. Dus waren wij afhankelijk van een taxi. Dit was zeer teleurstellend'

'Very nice stay. Quiet and kindly. The continental breakfast was a bit disappointed because there where no croissants available for everyone. '

'Handige locatie naast het International Telford Center. Fijne kamer die geluiddicht lijkt te zijn. Ik hoorde niks van de luide muziek in de lobby, terwijl ik dicht in de buurt zat.'

'Efficient and friendly staff, clean rooms with all the facilities you need. Evening meal and service was excellent couldn’t fault my stay would definitely recommend.'

'A wonderful hotel, everything was super nice, the room, (given a upgrade), the food outstanding, and the friendliest you could have ever meet. Definitely will book when next in the area.'

'The AC was broken down in the entire wing in the heat of summer. Staff brought fans but that did not help as the windows couldn’t open either. My family and I had no sleep or rest during our entire stay.'
