Villa's in East Hancock

'We rented the whole place and had a magical week. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating and made everything easy. The place is beautiful, definitely rustic, but that's fine. The water and boats worked perfectly. We camped on islands and had adventures every day. The Kitchen is big and functional. We were a very large group and needed a bit more refrigeration, but I know the hosts are working on that. The caretakers made our stay even better. Food truck is a boon. The vibe of the...

'The motel is dated. Carpet is dark brown indoor/outdoor. Rooms have a musty odor. Towels are thin, bed spreads have not been laundered recently. Beds were reasonably comfortable, tv worked, there is a coffee maker in the room. And a full refrigerator so bring your own cream. Desk staff were pleasant. Room was quiet.'

'We had a wonderful stay at the Motel on the River. The owners are wonderful, helpful people and they really show interest in their guests. They gave us good advice about places worth visiting in the area and we also used the Motel as a base to drive to Acadia National Park, which is beautiful. We ( parents with 3 young adults) climbed the beehive trail in the Park which is really worth climbing, not only for the adventure but also because of the beauty of te surroundings. Thanks for everything...

There was also a very nice outside porch or you could sit and watch the sunrise in the morning with your coffee or tea. We enjoyed walking down to one of the restaurants and had a nice dinner, and then having homemade ice cream afterwards at the ice...

'Prima locatie, dichtbij het centrum van Bar Harbor. Schone ruime kamer en genoeg parkeerplek achter het hotel. Het ontbijt had iets gevarieerder gekund, maar het was wel fijn dat er elke dag verse koekjes en cakejes werden gebakken.'

'Heerlijke bedden, nieuw hotel'
