Great experience. The view from the terrace is breathtaking! Everything in the hotel is clean and taken care of. The room was spacious and clean. The quality and selection of food with our half board stay was consistently good, everything you need, delicious and super fresh. Every member of staff that we had contact with was friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel is located 5 km from Dubrovnik old city and there's a magnificent promenade around the coast starting in 5 min walk from the hotel. Live music every evening was a great addition to the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel.

Nice, big hotel with 3 pools to choose from
We spent 12 days and were surprised by the international atmosphere, with guests from America, England, Korea and closer to home, European continent. We were quite happy withe the buffets for breakfast and dinner but found in general, food and service a bit expensive, both in and outside the hotel.We also used pools from other hotels, liked the beach and service at the President Hotel nearby (also a Valamar hotel). We used Uber taxis to go to the old city and enjoyed the contact with this category of people as well.

Net hotel dichtbij Dubrovnik
Hotel op 20 busminuutjes van het oude stadje Dubrovnik. Hotel ligt samen met een klein aantal andere hotels in een resort-achtige omgeving. Eigen voorzieningen van het hotel, waaronder de diverse bars, restaurants en zwembad, zijn uitstekend. Ontbijtbuffet was perfect, voldoende uitgebreid en veelal vers bereid. Het dinerbuffet was prima, maar niet bijzonder. Kamer was ruim, zeer netjes en werd dagelijks uitgebreid schoongemaakt. Personeel was over het algemeen vriendelijk en redelijk tot uitstekend in de Engelse taal. Prijzen van drankjes en eten in het hotel zijn niet goedkoop, vergelijkbaar met de prijzen op een gemiddeld Nederlands terras. Ons verblijf was over algemeen zeer goed bevallen. Helaas wel wat miscommunicaties rondom het regelen van de transfer van en naar het vliegveld. Vooraf geboekte transfer vanaf het vliegveld werd per mail bevestigd, maar bij aankomst op de luchthaven was er geen chauffeur te bekennen. Vervolgens met een reguliere taxi naar ons hotel gegaan, waar de geboekte transfer bij het receptiepersoneel ook niet bekend bleek te zijn? Voor de terugreis wederom een transfer via email geregeld, ook deze was, ondanks bevestiging per email, niet bij de receptie bekend. Vreemd genoeg stonden beide transfers bij het uitchecken wel op de rekening. Na overleg zijn deze echter snel van de rekening geschrapt en is alles correct afgehandeld.

4 sterren hotel met 5 sterren staf
Valamar Lacroma is een resort hotel dat van alle gemakken voorzien is. Met binnen- en buitenzwembad, spa en snelle toegang tot het strand (met meer dan genoeg strandbedden!) is het hotel van alle gemakken voorzien. De staf is bijzonder professioneel en voorkomend. Zo Kwamen wij ruim te vroeg aan, maar werden we prima geholpen door Ina, de receptioniste, die ervoor zorgde dat onze kamer eerder werd opgeleverd en we al meteen gebruik konden maken van alle faciliteiten. Al met al top!

Leuk 4 sterren hotel met veel faciliteiten.
Zeer vriendelijk personeel, bereid om te helpen bij vragen. Het begon al bij de receptie met een goede ontvangst en vouchers voor een welkomstdrank. We kregen een van de mooiste kamers met zeezicht. Gevraagd naar hypo allergeen beddengoed en dit was geregeld. In het restaurant ook zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. Manager zette zich voor 200% in om het naar ons zin te maken. Er was geen vraag te veel. Personeel nam ook even tijd om te praten. Het eten was verrukkelijk. Wij hadden geen all-inclusive, maar we mochten zo aansluiten voor het diner buffet voor een zeer gereduceerd prijs en kind was gratis. De dames van de wellness hadden uitgebreide suggesties over de verschillende behandelingen zonder opdringerig te zijn. Bushalte op zeer korte loopafstand van het hotel. Buskaartjes zijn goedkoper in het hotel. In deze periode was het niet heel druk en dat was prettig. We konden rustig later uitchecken zonder probleem, onze bagage werd opgeborgen zodat we nog even naar de oude stad konden voor we weer opgehaald werden voor onze vlucht. Al met al, voor ons een zeer prettig hotel, personeel en omgeving. We gaan zeker weer terug. Door een overboekte vlucht, moesten we nog een nacht blijven in Dubrovnik. De vliegtuigmaatschappij heeft gezorgd voor een hotelovernachting, diner en ontbijt in een ander hotel dicht bij het vliegveld (zou 4 ster zijn). Hierdoor konden wij vergelijken met ons verblijf in Valamar LaCroma. LaCroma is gewoon SUPER!!!! op alle gebieden beter gescoord

Argument van ons verblijf in Dubrovnik was een bruiloft in de oude stad. Buitengewone mooie lokatie en omgeving. Aangenaam klimaat in mei. Hotel is prima en heeft geheel aan onze verwachtingen voldaan. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is correct.

My daughter and I returned home last night after having an absolutely wonderful time at a beautiful hotel. The hotel was amazing, and we were thrilled with the quality of the breakfast and dinner that were provided. I am so glad we opted for the half board option, and I recommend that you do the same. Despite booking a basic room, we were still extremely pleased with the super clean and spacious room that had a stunning view of the mountains. The staff were friendly and nice, and we thoroughly enjoyed the live music that was performed in the bar every night. The outdoor and indoor pools were both fantastic and added to our enjoyment of the trip. It took us just 11 minutes and 6 euros by Uber to get to the old city. Overall, we rate this city and hotel a perfect 10 out of 10!

Hotel was very lovely, with all good amenities, and easy dining opportunities along with courteous and helpful staff. My only small criticism, is that when B & B guests are on excursion trips, the breakfast boxes provided, should have less carbs and sugary treats and more protein such as nuts, pulses and eggs in them.

We had a wonderful week at the Lacroma, the pool(s) were great, the private beach nearby was the best we found in the area, the buffet breakfasts and dinners were a constant delight and all the staff were incredibly helpful. The room was spacious and luxurious, and the entire hotel aeemed to have a perfect view of the incredible.sunsets. We definitely intend to return next time we visit Dubrovnik!

Excellent Hotel
The Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik is situated on the Adriatic Sea. The view from our room of the sea was fantastic. The room itself was spacious and very clean. All staff were professional in their appearance and demeanor. The food was excellent and service first rate. You will enjoy this hotel!

The room was nice and had a balcony. The indoor and outdoor pools were lovely with a great view, a bit noisy because of all the kids. The breakfast buffet was enormous with many yummy choices, however, parents let their children run and scream so it was more like Disneyland than a restaurant. The evening buffet was also vast with many choices. The evening buffet manager, Joseph, was so rude to me for asking a question that we almost left on the spot. We continued to watch him berate his staff as they physically shrunk if front of us. Warning, do not ask Joseph if they serve pasta. You will be sorry. The location to other restaurants and the bus line is perfect. If You you get a chance eat at hotel more, restaurant more, is absolutely amazing.
