Relaxed Travellers

Went with a friend of many years.Was as stated when booked. 2 rooms in main building. Plus an Annex. Beautiful little Villa. Swimming Pool. Think maybe a converted Barn. Old worldly in Decor. Was just what the Doctor ordered. Loved it here so peaceful. It’s set in a little Village. Has Tavernas . We ate in one. Small Grocery Shop. Big Hotel short walk. If you wish to get away from the fast world book this little Villa.

Enjoyable Stay

The house is beautiful, clean and has everything you need. It is located in a small and quiet village, perfect for relaxing. Filoppos is a very welcoming host and he gave us great tips for restaurants and the surrounding area. We will definitely book again.

Oasis in a quaint Cypriot town

Spent the week in the villa and it exceeded all expectations. Perfect space for the five of us as the rooms are a great size each with their own bathroom. The garden and pool area were idyllic. Would recommend!

Excellent rural village property

We stayed in this wonderful villa for 11 nights (Sep2020) and it was amazing. There is a very private garden and large pool, the property is not over looked my the neighbours. We had all amenities you could want, including washing machine, dishwasher, air conditioning, oven, hob etc. We where left some essentials i.e bread, marg, milk, and a large bowl of fruit etc. We had the opportunity to pick fresh figs and pomegranates from the garden. The weather was lovely with temp around 30-35 degrees, Latsi is about 20-30mins drive from the Villa and there is a lovely marina with bars and restaurants, there are several tavernas in the village which do local cuisine. We would definitely recommend this villa, however I would like to keep this little gem a secret (just for us) we will definitely be going back at some point. Would like to thank Sofronios for his hospitality x

Very quiet village location 15 minutes from the coast

Great location if your after a tranquil holiday , a few local taverna's offering basic food and only a short drive to polis and latchi for restaurants and bars. The property itself is basic and could probably do with some more kitchen crockery and glasses if sleeping 6 and we did have to buy some tongs to use the barbecue which we hope other guests will find useful but all teh appliances are modern and clean. Fillipos the owner is very accommodating and was kind enough to provide so milk, bread, cheese and fruit as well as a home made cake on our arrival. All in all a great property in a great part of Cyprus and will definitely return to the region.

Charming retreat in Paphos Hills

Just returned from a really lovely 11 day stay at Simeon Estate with my wife, two teenage daughters , older daughter and boyfriend, As per other reviews, this place really is charming. While simple in style, it has everything you need - the outside area and pool are just lovely and the 4+2 living arrangement suited our party perfectly. Fillipos the owner was very welcoming, provided provisions and a delicious cake on arrival and was always on hand if needed. Drouseia is a quiet village, a little off the beaten track, but there are a number of local tavernas/minimarkets in easy walking distance, and the pleasant Latchi beach resort area is just 15min drive away. We have stayed in a lot of nice places, but in terms of kicking back and relaxing by the pool this has to be one of the best. Highly recommended.

Relax and slow down house

Very attractive traditional house. The house’s infrastructure contains everything. Washing machine, dish washing machine, oven and so forth. Has a large swimming pool, with sunny and shady places around the pool to relax. We discovered a nice, sandy beach near by, Coral Bay. With clear water. 30 minutes away from the house. The only noise, but lovely noise, came from the different kinds of 1000 birds and bugs around. Filippos, the owner of the house is a very friendly local. His English is excellent.

Maison très agréable à vivre dans un coin de Chypre encore authentique et preservé

Encore mieux que sur les photos ! Maison de village joliment refaite, avec un jardin très bien aménagé et une piscine appréciable. Drouseia est un village à 600m d'altitude et au mois d'août nous avons savouré l'air plus frais et surtout beaucoup moins humide qu'à Paphos. C'est Philipos, le propriétaire, qui nous a accueillis. Il est discret, gentil et attentionné (A notre arrivée: fruits frais, délicieux gâteau "maison", bouteilles d'eau et jus d'orange dans le réfrigérateur de chacune des cuisine). Linge de maison, papier toilette, essuie-tout, produits lavants pour le lave-linge et le lave-vaisselle sont fournis. Par contre, il n'y a pas du tout de "fond de maison" (sel, sucre, épices, huile...) Pour qui aime cuisiner, la cuisine est un peu sous-équipée mais lorsque j'ai demandé à Philipos s'il y avait une grande poêle, il est allé en acheter une et me l'a apportée dans la demie-heure ! Ménage en milieu et en fin de séjour compris dans la prestation. Dans le village; plusieurs tavernes et cafés, 2 petits supermarchés (les supermarchés plus grands sont à Paphos) et un vendeur ambulant de pastèques, pommes de terre, bananes qui passe en voiture tous les jours. Vraie vie de village, on voit peu les touristes... La plage que nous avons préférée est Lara Beach. Elle se trouve à une petite demie-heure de la maison. On y accède par une route étroite qui se termine par une piste; magnifiques points de vue tout le long du trajet et nature superbe. 4x4 recommandé mais pas indispensable. Nous remercions Philipos pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité, et nous recommandons vivement cette location !!!
