The Space:

The shared outdoor spaces set the tone for your stay, with a shared swimming pool, landscaped gardens, shaded terraces, and wide mountain views creating an easy rhythm from morning through evening.



Inside, the studio combines an open living and sleeping area with a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Large windows bring in plenty of daylight, and the soft neutral palette pairs naturally with the stone details and countryside surroundings. A king size bed anchors the sleeping area, while two additional single beds allow the studio to host up to four guests comfortably.



The kitchenette is fully equipped and the dining area connects naturally with the living space, making it easy to gather for slow breakfasts or relaxed evenings indoors. The private bathroom has a clean modern finish with a walk in shower and thoughtful details designed for comfort during longer stays.



Outside, the terraces and garden seating areas make the most of the surrounding mountain landscape. Morning coffee beside the pool and evenings under the open sky quickly become part of the daily routine here.

Guest Access:

Guests have full private access to the studio, gardens, outdoor dining areas, and barbecue space. The swimming pool is shared and sits within the central garden area of the estate.

Studio Aspilon sits near the village of Taxiarches in the Drama region of Northern Greece, surrounded by a mountain scenery at an elevation of around 450 metres. The estate enjoys a peaceful setting approximately 7 minutes from the village itself, creating an atmosphere of privacy and quiet while still keeping local services and regional attractions within easy reach. A well stocked supermarket can be reached in around 8 minutes, while traditional tavernas and everyday services remain close to the property.



The coast of Kavala can be reached in around 50 km, where you will find organized beaches, seaside tavernas, and long stretches of sand and pebble shoreline along the northern Aegean. Ammolofoi Beach, approximately 65 km away, is known for its wide sandy coastline and clear water, creating one of the region’s best known summer beach destinations. Peramos Beach sits around 55 km from the property and combines shallow water with beach bars and relaxed waterfront dining.



Nature experiences begin almost immediately from the estate itself. The forests surrounding Taxiarches are ideal for walking, cycling, and exploring quiet countryside roads through oak and pine landscapes. The famous Alistrati Cave lies approximately 40 km away and ranks among the most impressive cave systems in Greece, with enormous chambers and striking rock formations. For guests interested in kayaking and outdoor sports, the Nestos River near Toxotes sits roughly 90 km away and is known for its dramatic gorge landscapes and guided river activities.



The Drama region is also rich in cultural and historical sights. The Cave of Maras, located around 35 km from the property, combines geological interest with impressive underground scenery. Studio Aspilon is located near Taxiarches in the Drama region, approximately 65 km from Kavala International Airport and around 160 km from Thessaloniki Airport. The port of Kavala sits roughly 45 km away and offers ferry connections to Thassos and other northern Aegean islands. We suggest guests having their own car for added convenience, as public transport in the area is limited.
