'After a long journey, arrived to a room that had not been cleaned from last guests. Called owner to complain and he offered us the room next door which was prepared fro new guests. We accepted but felt the room wasn’t as clean as it should be. We asked for a discount but was refused. I felt it was overpriced. '

'This was our most expensive accommodation this trip and we were bothered by the maintance upkeep in our unit. the TV was not attached properly to the wall and was on a bad lean, the cupboards did not shut, and the kitchen had no medium pot forcooking'

'If you like a themed room styled by Thing One and Thing Two from Dr Seuss then this is for you . Don’t be fooled by the exposed beams and fireplace photos on the home page being in your room because they are not . Gaining access on arrival which only can be done on a Smartphone if you have signal and if you like dealing with s faceless system then this is for you as well …. it was very stressful . Being very cold and I had visions of having to sleep in our car because no Pin code for our room...

'This room is tiny. The large window/sliding door lets in all the heat and there is no A/C to cool it off, just and under-powered fan to blow the hot air around. You can’t leave the door or wi Dow open as the insects flock in. The ensuite is fine but the shower is tight. The walls are thin so unfortunately you hear all the movement from next door. '

'Good communication with host, clear instructions for contactless entry. Modern apartment with a good kitchen and washing machine, comfortable bed. However the apartment is a bit run down with damage to the walls from furniture, the floor mat in the lounge is stained, there is mould in the shower, weeds and cigarette butts in the garden. If these were fixed, I would rate this property as a 5/5. The location was good, a quiet complex, deficated parking and a nice little outdoor area.'

'Good location. Home was different than most we have stayed at in NZ. Very charming but needs better attention to detail and more organization in the home. Would recommend but know you’re staying in an older different styled home'
