'I liked how clean the room was and especially the large desk are that I used frequently while I was there for a week! The only two issues I wished different--the was no freezer in the mini fridge and I had no way to make my ice packs cold each day. And the bed mattresses were flat and VERY hard. Other than that, things were great!'

'The staff is awesome. When I was checking in, they handled a few issues for clients quickly and to the clients' satisfaction. They are friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and inviting. Breakfast offerings were varied and appetizing.'

'Paul and his staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! Lovely old stately home converted to BnB, with delightful breakfast next day. The suites are large and very comfortable and just dripping with classic furnishings appropriate to a late 19th century stately home.'

'This 1800’s hotel is so beautiful. Our room was perfect. The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom is updated. Enjoyed having coffee on the deck. The staff was so welcoming but never intrusive or awkward. The hotel doesn’t serve breakfast but they have coffee and there is a diner and cafe within short walking distance. They have restaurant that serves dinner, we did not have a chance to dine there. There is a lake with a beach within 10 minutes drive. I would love to return in the fall or...

'If you want a place where there's some space and just to sleep, then for the price they charge it's a nice place to stay. Other places were much more and we were visiting Cooperstown for my son's 12U. baseball tournament and we only used this place to sleep and get up and go to the game and repeat. It served its purpose. The staff were a family that resided at the property and they were respectful and friendly.'

'The only places to stay around Glimmerglass are these small motels. This was a lovely surprise. The room was very clean and the owner is so nice. There is a nice backyard to this place that has a pavilion, a fireplace and games. Very family oriented.'

'We loved staying in this big old mansion and appreciating how they built them in the old days. Jim and Susie are warm, friendly and accommodating hosts. The breakfast each morning was tasty and delicious. We got to really appreciate how nice Cherry Valley was when we went downtown to Cooperstown one night. What a horrible tourist town. It was nice to get back to Cherry Valley. We were there for the Glimmerglass festival which is very close and only a few minutes away.'
