![Devanahalli Fort is located 35 kilometers (22 mi) north of Bangalore city, at Devanahalli in the State of Karnataka, India.[1]
It was originally built in 1501 by Mallabairegowda,[1][2][3][4] which remained in the hands of his descendants until the mid–eighteenth century. In 1749, the then Dalwai of Mysore, Nanjarajaiah, attacked the fort and occupied it. Later, the fort passed into the hands of Hyder Ali and subsequently Tipu Sultan.[2] In 1791, Lord Cornwallis laid siege to the fort and took possession during the Anglo-Mysore War.

« Everything was fine. The restaurants inside the hotel are very good. The Quattro is the restaurant where you can order pizzas among many good dishes. The pizzas are prepared on the Neapolitan style (round pizza typically prepared in the Italian city of Naples and characterised by a soft, thin dough with high edges and fresh toppings). They are really good, probably best pizzas in town. »

« Whenever I go to Bangalore, I stay at the Vivanta by Taj. I stay in many luxury hôtels all over the world for business travels, and this one has by far the best and friendliest service! They go above and beyond the call of duty to make guests feel at home and special. I also appreciate the wooden floors and Windows that open (prevents that musty old carpet smell so many hôtels have). They are currently rennovating, but informed me of this before my stay. The area can be a bit Noisy until around...
