'A nice hidden spot near the railway station with fleeting views of the beach, friendly staff and access to the gym next door. It’s a reasonable walk to Turtle Bay, but the main restaurants/bars are approximately 15 min walk away. BUT, a Tuktuk is like £1 (GBP) so very reasonable. A great stay overall.'

'Sri Lankan Villa was one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka, and the cleanest. Everything in the villa had been thought through, and our stay was so comfortable and easy. Lovely balcony too for relaxing. The location was perfect - close to Koggala lake, the beach, our favourite little Café Wave (try the hot lava cake), the railway line, and even the little road the villa was on was quiet and good for an evening wander. Highly recommended.'

'The property was clean and convenient. The staff were helpful when requested. However, maintenance work has to be carried out in the apartment. The shower and the sink in the bathroom got flooded when used. The stove and the washing machine were malfunctioning. 'Ontbijt was goed, maar eenzijdig. Elke dag hetzelfde. Personeel prima en vriendelijk. Schone kamer en de was keurig verzorgd. De nachtwaker vriendelijke oudere man. Al het personeel nog dezelfde mensen als 2 jaar geleden. Ook zij waren tevreden en altijd bereid. Zwembad niet geprobeerd.'
