'New hotel - nice, clean, newly and tastefully decorated, great location in the middle of Henley-on-Thames, not far from the river. Good breakfast and dinner. Very nice external seating area with retractable roof and TVs to watch sport (world cup was on). Other good restaurants, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s Local nearby. Still need to fix some teething problems - coffee pods and machine provided weren’t matched, no air conditioning in the room (we stayed during a heat wave - electric fan kindly...

'Bathroom was not stocked with the usual (and expected) shampoo and conditioner; only one towel provided for two guests, and shower screen seal was hanging off. A tower stand was provided but not adequate for the size of the room and the outside ambient temperature (19 degrees overnight).'

'Hotel was in a beautiful setting and felt safe and secure inside the complex. The bed was so comfortable i didn't want to get up.Will definitely stay here again.'

'The room appeared to have not been cleaned after it's previous accounts. There was what looked like fecal matter on the toilet seat, bodily fluids on the bedding which definitely hadn't been changed and the room smelt like someone had been smoking, even though this is illegal. The staff didn't seem to care when we handed the keys back and left without even viewing another room. Do not stay here, do not give them your money. The environmental health should inspect and close them down.'

'Decent but small single room EXCEPT the kitchen vent. All was fine until 7am when it started up like an aero engine and then that wasn't great (that's English for a bit grim). Ensuite is for skinny people only. Very 1980's suite and tiny washbasin squeezed in ext to the shower enclosure. Fan broken so it was quickly like Viet Nam in monsoon conditions in there.'

'This property had recently changed hands and was under major renovation. The previous owners were still managing the hotel while this reconstruction was happening. They were anxious to be of service during this time. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent and known locally as serving excellent Middle Eastern food. When complete, this location will probably become well recommended.'

'The room was very clean, small, but well appointed. We were experiencing one of the hottest days in the UK so it was a bit uncomfortable for sleeping due to the lack of ac, there was an oscillating fan in the room which provided some relief but without a window for some fresh air during the night, it was a little stuffy. There was great water pressure and a lovely clean bathroom which was separated from the sleeping area by a heavy tapestry curtain. We had just arrived that afternoon from an...
