Kitchen counter had multiple burn marks and some sticky substance, corner held down with duct tape. Screen door off tracks, laying against wall. Wife was stung by insect in the unit, had to go to hospital. We moved out after only 3 hours, and literally slept in the car rather than go back. Owner uncaring, rude and greedy. 'It is a perfect place to sense of small-town New York. And just across the road there is a short walk to Schroon Lake which is marvellous as it is lined by trees that are close to 100 feet high. Beautiful lake view with a small, sandy beach. Owners are delightful to speak with. Very pleasant experience.'
