We enjoyed the wood fired pizza up the hill for dinner and breakfast made by the owner with other guests on Saturday morning (waffles, fresh fruit, coffee and tea). That allowed us to get there, relax and hang out, and stay on the property until we left on Saturday, which was nice. We did some bird watching and enjoyed the peace and quiet this homestead offers. I'm sure we'll be back again.'

'I was very pleased that it was a pet friendly property, but we checked in early, but supposedly it had already been cleaned. It smell clean and looked clean until you started walking and your feet were sticking to the floor and I took a shower and there is a hairball, which I left right there in the upper left corner of the shower on top of the shower surround and I had to purchase a mop and bucket to clean the floors so that I can walk around in my socks I want to turn on an air conditioner in...

'We had a last minute cancellation of a rental house and needed a place close to Gore that allowed pets. This house was great and Irene was very accommodating, making sure we enjoyed our stay. Check in was super smooth, location was close to Gore, with a pet friendly home and surrounding area. '

'A true Adirondack gem! This lakefront cottage is reminiscent of the classic Adirondack camps where my husband & his family spent their summers. Laid-back, rustic and peaceful. That is a whole vibe. The deck overlooks the pond, it has a child-safety gate so you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings without worrying your pet/child will wander off.
