« Not only was the space perfect, but the owners made it that much better. Across the street there is a creek that is so fun to play in. They have an outdoor cooking area that protects you from weather but is so much fun to cook on. The screen room is for games and the humming birds are so silly to watch. « We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views of the lake. Unfortunately, it was raining for about the first 24 hours that we were there, so we didn't get to enjoy the back deck. Quaint little place, but fulfilled our needs. »

« We enjoyed our stay at the cabin--everything was very clean and well organized, with coffee and tea, all the utensils and pots one would need. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of towels. We especially enjoyed the fact that there was a fire pit--lovely for a warm evening. We were able to get back and forth to Colby College in 30 minutes and had dinner in Skowhegan. »

« This Caribou Island cabin was perfect for an end of summer getaway for my kids (13 and 11) and me. The highlight for us was the location--nestled in the trees right on the lake, but completely private. I can't say enough about how beautiful the property is. The bedrock protrudes through a thin cover of soil and is covered with a variety of lichen and moss that is absolutely gorgeous. « We enjoyed our stay, especially the wonderful shore walks, bedroom in the trees tops, and very peaceful. The Living Room furniture is rather "funky" and fun, but the couch really needs to be replaced. Loved all the updates made to the cabin. The great amount of work that has gone into updating this cottage is obvious. Kudos to the people that have worked so hard to update this property! »

« We stayed in April to experience the eclipse. The house is right on Moose River. In warmer weather we definitely would have taken advantage of the access as well as the firepit. Close to snowmobile trails and plenty of summer time activities. Would highly recommend. Communication with owner was excellent. »

« Fireplace, clean, mini Christmas white lights. Andy's place is one of the most romantic stay and gives off major cozy vibes. Paul is a perfect host ! It was easy to reach him and he was paying attention to our needs. He made an ice rink on the pond, it was perfect for an epic weekend in nature. We will come back. Thank you ! »

« Beautiful little cabin in a lovely secluded location. Clean, comfortable, extremely quiet. The only issue we found is - the hot water heater is horribly undersized. Any more than one 10-min shower and you’ll be taking a COLD shower! Lovely retreat for a couple, but a shower together? Out of the question! My wife and I took AM/PM shifts on the 2nd day after it took my breath away on day 1. »

« My family fell in love with this cabin as soon as we walked in the door. It made for a very nice get away in the mountains. The property was nice, the amenities we great. My kids enjoyed the games and movies. »

« The studio apartment was very clean and in a beautiful location overlooking the lake. The beds mattress could have been of higher quality. However this is not enough to turn me away from renting this place again. »

« The area is gorgeous. Found some great hiking. Fire pit and hot tub were awesome. House was just perfect… clean and stocked kitchen. Exactly what I expected! Def want to go back someday soon!!! »

« Although the cabin was not cleaned before we arrived, the Vacasa cleaning crew came right over after we called. They said it was a scheduling problem that caused them to not have the cabin cleaned before we got there. I would have expected a proactive call to let us know about the problem and for them to have corrected the schedule before we got there and called them about it. Vacasa is also refunding us our cleaning fee. »
