« This pub is located in the very centre of the town an thus walking distance from most attractions and restaurants. The place is clean though rather basic with few amenities. No breakfast is on offer. Our problem was that the bedrooms appear to have been built into this historic building with little or no sound proofing. « Really good Hotel in the centre of Shrewsbury. From a welcome Sherry on arrival to a fantastic breakfast on leaving, we had a great stay. The room was spacious and clean, barring a rather large cobweb in one of corners. Everything we needed was there. »

« The temperature in my room was 17° and never went above 18° despite my request. So a fan was snoring all night. The shower was cold too. and the light was dim at night. I was afraid of crossing a polar bear! Location is great if you attend an event at Telford International. »
