'Property had some great facilities, beach, gym and water sports all positives. Rooms a little tired, food very mixed bag and staff genuine and super nice people, but a little ineffective at the same time. A basic example was no water on the room on arrival, checked with reception who said it’s housekeepings fault, ask them the following day, they said it’s not them it’s reception and we never received any water. I think it’s too strong to say we regret staying here but I wouldn’t stay again....

'Great accommodation with lots of activities especially for families. Staff were fantastic especially David in the activities team. Downside was the food and you can't snorkel from the resort, but it does say that on the website.'

'The staff were really nice, the food was excellent. The kids loved the pools, the rooms were clean. The kids had a great time kayaking and paddle boarding. Warmer linen would help as it was quite cold at night. The buffet was great but occasionally there were issues with getting cutlery and the kids buffet kept running out and it took a while to refill Other than that highly recommend'

'Good resort, very clean, nice setting. Staff is lovely, their travel desk can be a bit pushy in offering only their tours (Pele island didn't exist because they didn't offer a tour to it for instance...). Thing to improve is the breakfast. Pancakes, canned fruit, Vegemite and some very dry pastries and that was it. Anything else had to be paid for.'

'Had a bad experience when a hotel driver didn’t collect us as scheduled at night and we felt in danger. Didn’t feel like evening staff knew much about the tours or options for transport available. Parts of the hotel room were broken such as the security latch on the door and fan knobs. Wardrobe doors wouldn’t close. No options for streaming on the TV without compatible devices. No snorkels available for use or hire. Felt it really wasn’t a 5 star hotel standard.'

'Loved our stay. Staff were amazing. The snorkelling was great, just as expected. Hideaway is very relaxing, quiet with few residents. Even with day trippers, it didn't seem that busy. Food was great. Not alot of options but this the Beach Bar near by, there is plenty for all. Will definitely be going back.'

'The staff really truly makes this stay amazing. They are so happy, so helpful, they made the stay great. The ocean views are fantastic and villas large and spacious. It is an experience to stay there. The island is a smaller island off the main island and there are no shopping centres, no TV no intent, nothing to distract you from total immersion into nature. Forest on one side, ocean on the other side, this resort was made for relaxation. We loved using the complimentary kayaks to explore...

'Ik heb een week in Poppy's gelogeerd, het was er prima. Dit resort ligt, zoals de naam al zegt, aan een lagune met een privéstrandje en wat strandbedjes en kajaks. Er zijn 3 zwembaden, maar op het familiebad na, stellen die niet zoveel voor, ze zijn echter wel schoon. Er zijn verschillende accommodatiekeuzes, van ruime gezinsappartementen aan het strand tot aan standaard kamer in een klein gebouw wat meer naar achteren. Ik verbleef in 1 van deze kamers, wat wel betekende dat het een pittige klim...

'De bookingsites geven niet echt de werkelijkheid weer van de te boeken tenten. Deze vond ik niet echt geweldig. Ik heb toen een kamer gekregen. Deze kamer was niet schoongemaakt en de hele week is dat ook zo gebleven, waarom weet ik niet.....het is een prachtige omgeving, het mooiste plekje van het eiland. De lokale mensen die er werken zijn echt fantastisch. Tis een aanrader !! '

'Peaceful, relaxing, and a great place to unwind. The view was amazing and we looked forward to every meal overlooking the water. Snorkeling, paddling boarding, sea kayaking, and private access to water within steps of our bungalow. The staff was kind, friendly, and absolutely wonderful. We loved it here!'

'Erg mooi hotel. Je slaapt in een huisje met een groot bed, fijne douche en een klein zwembad (bijna) voor de deur. Airco niet inbegrepen, wel bij te huren voor €10 per dag. Bij het hotel kun je een taxi met chauffeur huren voor een dag(deel) voor ongeveer €150. Wij waren met 4, dus een goede prijs. Let wel: bij alle bezienswaardigheden betaal je ‘entree’, dus uiteindelijk toch een duur grapje, maar zó de moeite waard!'

'Our hosts/staff were friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant 'Birdies' is just right for the location, good vibe. The food is excellent but expect the prices to reflect what you'd pay back home. The accomodation was just right for us (family: 2 adults + 1 teen), we had seperate rooms with individual ensuites.
