'Patti called before we arrived to say the pipes had frozen at the house but that they were working on them; when we got their later that night, despite all Patti's and her family's best efforts could not get hot water flowing. We had already checked and couldn't find any other suitable accommodations. We were only there two nights and managed fine with ice bath showers and washclothes scrub downs.
