Vakantiehuizen in Saline County

'Very friendly and nice people. They brought tomatoes and corn out of their garden for us and checked in on how we were doing and had lots of supplies in the fridge and on the table. Would recommend staying there anytime'

'Pros: quiet little cabin, tucked just inside from a street. Clean & cozy. Cons 1. Mattress: It was too soft & saggy in the middle. Another reviewer mentioned this too. I wasn't able to get a restful night's sleep. Either my knees or neck would be sore in the mornings 2. Not enough brightness / lights: The interior feels dark - with an okay ceiling light, where 1-2 if the bulbs would slowly go dim as tine went on. Kitchen light was brigther.'

'Quiet and small. A perfect little pond for a little bit of fun. Perfect and private. Exactly what we needed.'

'Absolutely beautiful place inside and out. Had everything u could ever need at a place'

'It was a great base for us to bounce to several wineries and attractions. Hosts respond pretty much immediately to any questions. Highly recommend!'

'Very pretty and peaceful property. The perfect place to get away from the big city fireworks with our easily spooked pup over the July 4 weekend.Plenty of items in the kitchen to easily prepare your own food and comfortable hot tub in the back. The nature trail was an added bonus, especially since we had a dog with us. We had a small hiccup when we arrived but Cody was extremely responsive and helpful and it was resolved quickly.'

'The property was nice and peaceful. It was nice to have the grill and firepit on the property.'

'Allison was very quick at responding if anything popped up during our stay. She was efficient and effective with her communication. The pond was AMAZING and our dog Raven had an absolute blast! Thank you for allowing your space to host dogs as well so we could have this great weekend with our family!'

'Definitely will come back A+++ . Hot tub was perfect but definitely needs a umbrella for day time soaks. Shawnee is a beautiful place to relax with Nature.'

'Such a hidden gem here in Southern illinois. We enjoyed ourselves so much. So very peaceful and relaxing. We are now planning another trip to your facility soon.'

'This is an amazing place for a couple or small family to have a first or even small get away or vacation'
