'Just completed a wonderful 5 night stay at the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel and could not have asked for a better stay. The amenities are fantastic restaurants, concierge, lounge, room service, front desk staff, beach and the leadership team were all exceptional. Not a single complaint about anything.

'It was an alright hotel with a few nasty surprises/quirks: wifi was only free in the lobby and costs 50 QAR (13 Euro) per 24 hours in the rooms where one would of course usually use the internet. Then there is the swimming pool. Just when finished all work wanting to relax and enjoy the pool in the last daylight, it turns out to be ladies time. What a terrible way to receive international guests: separate and inconvenient times for men and women swimming. So glad this was only on business,...

'Nice clean safe hotel apartment, would happily stay there for longer. Kind staff, nice bathroom and shower etc and the balcony view was amazing. Lovely private beach at the back, Sainsbury’s close by, free limousine service to be ordered by the hotel up until 10pm at night. Lovely place to stay, only downside for honeymoon couples is that they don’t offer the option of decorating the room for you as offered at other hotels and they don’t ask to do housekeeping, they want the customers to call...

'Of all the places we’ve stayed in the Middle East this has by far been my favourite. It’s probably more of a personal preference of myself but the only tiny detail which hindered our stay was the pillows in the room, they were far too soft and offered no support. As mentioned, other than this tiny personal detail the rest of the hotel was incredible. Sandy in the lobby was lovely and always smiley and happy to greet us, as was Eric in the valet. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again,...
