'A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. 'This is a lovely boutique villa in a peaceful and quiet location near the 4th tee of the golf course. From the back porch there is a beautiful view of part of the golf course and green-top mountains across Kandy Lake. The villa is well-maintained by Ramya who looked after us from morning to evening. 'This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. 'First off, these are appartments not a regular hotel. There is a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms are spacious with a living area, kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom At the top of the building there is a small fitness room, pool and hottub. Because it's build on a mountain you really have 360 view over Kandy. The staff and manager are all very nice. The manager tried to help us with arranging train tickets and even brought us to the train station (at 5:30am).'
