"No vale lo que cuesta y hay detalles que para un hotel que se jacta de ser de cierta categoria no los puedo dejar pasar. La habitación no tenia maquina de cafe ni pava, solo habia enchufes de un lado de la cama. El baño de la habitación era pequeño, la ducha no funcionaba bien (demasiado caliente o fria). La canilla del lavabo tampoco funcionaba correctamente. La habitación esta decorada con cortinas rojas, muy percudidas y con manchas de no se que. La piscina no es tan grande como en las fotos, y no hay suficientes camas. Eso deberia estar calculado, no puede ser que uno vaya a la piscina y este todo ocupado la mayor parte del dia. Gente bebiendo alcohol y fumando en la piscina, y los mozos no solo lo permiten, sino que llevan los cocktails a la piscina. Vi como un turista un tanto borracho derramó la mitad de un expresso martini en la piscina. El gimnasio no lo utilice, pero se veia bien. El hamam era bastante grande, fue algo positivo dentro del espacio de spa. Pero el resto del spa no. El sauna esta bastante descuidado, maderas viejas, habia literalmente un hueco en el techo. Y no se si era solo ese dia, pero el area de “relajación” esta junto a una sala donde hay una maquina que hace constantemente un ruido. Los restaurants aparentemente son buenos, pero considerando todo lo anterior no quise dejar un centavo mas en el hotel, asi que decidimos comer fuera del hotel. Un hotel que debe haber visto mejore tiempos, pero necesita urgentemente un “lifting”! No volveria a ir. "

"Het zwembad was niet open, wat wel op de site stond. Dit was 1 van de redenen dat we dit hotel hebben gekozen. Verder was het ontbijt erg summier, met weinig soorten beleg. Dit is absoluut niet wat ik zou verwachten van een vier sterren hotel. "

"The reason I chose this hotel is that The Savoy has a rich history and is one of the city’s most iconic hotels. Opened in 1910, during the height of the Belle Époque in Buenos Aires and built by French architect Paul Gallet, the hotel was located in the heart of the city, close to the main attractions, making it a popular destination at the time. For many years, the Savoy was a luxurious retreat for Buenos Aires’ elite and had a reputation for elegance and refinement. The hotel has hosted several famous guests, including Eva Perron and Albert Einstein. The rooms are fine and the shower is great! The breakfast is simple and basic. Furthermore, this hotel could do with a makeover. For example, I personally find the breakfast room bare and uninviting. And the red carpets on the stairs were replaced years ago. And the open spaces on the floors look a bit empty and not very flourishing. The staff is friendly, but the hotel does not have the service of collecting luggage etcetera.. The staff is very friendly.."

"In- en uitchecken zeer onpersoonlijk. Het is nog net niet: hier is je sleutel en nou wegwezen. Ik had een junior suite maar meer dan een extra kale grote gang sloeg dat nergens op. Bed was prima, kussens waren te dik/hoog, andere hadden ze niet. Ontbijt is uitgebreid en goed, doch weer onpersoonlijk. En in de kelder. Het is absoluut geen 5 sterrenhotel, ze hebben wat boxen afgetikt om dat te zijn maar het is eerder 4. Op de kamer veel herrie van generatoren, geen idee waarvan. Locatie achter Playa Mayor is prima. Wifi is in orde. Persoonlijk zou ik er niet nogmaals heengaan."
