'Staff at the front desk were kind and welcoming . The room was very clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and rooms were updated nicely.'

'I stayed for one night at the motel. It was clean, well kept, with a comfortable bed and good clean linens. The owner was welcoming and helpful. Sometimes just staying for one night can mean a poor sleep but not here. It was quiet, with good "blackout" curtains. I slept well and, in the morning when I checked out, the office had fresh coffee or tea and helpful staff. I definitely felt well rested. Would recommend.'

'Beautiful little cabin. Really appreciated the hot tub! The mattress was extremely comfortable. Very private setting.'

'My boys loved the place! The kayaks, fishing rod and fire pit were great. However the smell of pet urine and perfume covered the carpets. There was a film ontop of the carpets almost like a wax and we had to keep socks on. I see past guests said the same thing but the claims were dismissed as bad guests. The scent is a real problem, please change the flooring so guests can fully enjoy the experience.'

'We had a great time here. It was 20 minutes away from Saint Andrews, a nice coastal village, and the hotel itself had a comfy room, nice hot tubs (hot tub 1 we liked the best), fire pits with wood provided. We would come here again!'

'Friendly staff and quiet environment'

'The lodge was awesome! We wish we would have had time to stay longer to use all the fun and available amenities. To get to the lodge is the only drawback. The long, unpaved road was not desirable with a few potholes to maneuver. This is not a lodge issue directly, but county/state maintenance problem. When you get to the property, the drive is nice asphalt for 2 minutes up to the buildings. We arrived around 8 pm and were immediately met by Josh to welcome us and get us to our room. We...

'Deepest appreciation Bruce and Bronte ! You're a home away from home (ours is Comox Valley, Vancouver Island, BC)'

'Het is er schoon en het personeel is behulpzaam en aardig. De accomodatid zelf is op leeftijd en er zijn weinig eetgelegenheden in de omgeving.'

'Een enig beetje jaren 50 motel. Echt super schoon!! Zeer vriendelijke en efficiënte ontvangst. Op loopafstand van winkels en restaurants. Volgende keer weer picket fence motel!'

'Clean room, helpful staff, great location.'

'It’s a beautiful historic property. We were greeted on arrival and given great information about the area. It’s a short walk to the Main Street shops and restaurants. Rooms were clean, temperature controls were available and felt very private. We did not get to enjoy the onsite cafe but will look forward to it next trip.'

'Amazing staff!!'
