« Adorable 1 bedroom apartment on 2 stories walking distance from restaurants on broad. Lovely charm and a cool wrap around porch. Very southern! Only criticism is the bed was foam or something and while soft and first we both could feel it in the am. I also thought the living room furniture looked old so we did not sit in there at all. Host was awesome! And i would highly recommend! »

« We had a wonderful stay at this home. The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to relax right away. The location was peaceful (however some strange “honking” noise in the morning, probably from near highway), perfect for unwinding after a long day. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our visit. Overall, it felt like a home away from home, and we would gladly stay here again. »

« I was sorry to leave this cheerful, charming apartment.The parking situation is excellent and the location is great - so close to Midwood and to Uptown and very walkable to restaurants. The apartment itself reminded us of old NYC, with real hardwood floors and high ceilings and a spread out layout. We especially loved the dining room and porch. The bed was extremely large and comfortable and we slept very well. I'm light sensitive so I greatly appreciated the blackout curtains everywhere and...

« It was very comfortable for our long weekend. Plenty of cookware. The house is on a nice quiet street. It was very convenient to the Sports Complex and restaurants. Oh...and an ice maker is a definite plus, for me anyway! Kim was very responsive and made check in and out easy! We will definitely stay again next time we're in Matthews, NC. »

« Great location, also great atmosphere. My only constructive criticism would be to put a privacy screen in front of hot tub. There is probably privacy in the spring and summer from neighbors because of trees and bushes but around the fall there is zero privacy. Some people like myself like hot tubs in the fall season. Also the beds are too hard and stiff. Could not really get a good night's sleep. Besides those two things the place was phenomenal. »
