'The breakfast was exceptional. The best Japanese breakfast at any hotel we’ve stayed at with sashimi, shrimp tempura and so many other wonderful dishes. I liked the ice cream which they offered gratis and the soba noodles at night. It had tatami mats like a Japanese inn but with all the modern conveniences. The tattoo restrictions are strict at this hotel.'

'Mooi hotel, dicht bij het station en op loopafstand van de bezienswaardigheden. We hebben het idee dat je het hotel niet uit hoeft, veel restaurants etc, maar daarvoor kom je niet naar Kanazawa.'

'The room in the hyatt house hotel is super. It’s spacious, very clean and quiet enough (you can hear the trains though, but not that loud). We enjoyed the free drinks in the lobby. However, we didn’t enjoy breakfast. After many days of having a japanese style breakfast during our journey, we were looking forward to a western style breakfast, one of the reasons why we chose a western style hotel. We missed granola, fresh fruits, different types of cheese, fried or boiled eggs, the opportunity...

'Very clean and spacious room. The carpark was directly behind the hotel and the hotel location is very central. We walked to the castle, gardens, food markets and all the other areas we wanted to visit. There are kombini and a chemist just down the road. Rooftop onsen, everything was just perfect. '

'US hotels should learn from the Japanese. The Tokyu hotel had exceptional service and was in an excellent location. Western style rooms with comfy beds and a shower head more with greater strength than most power washers. We walked everywhere and stayed 3 nights'

'Rooms need better cleaning around the air vents, there was dust buildup, little dead bugs stuck to walls and ceilings. Large amount of dust stuck on the fire nozzle.. it takes zero time and effort to see and clean. Personnel was nice and location was close to the station and shops. Some noise from the trains can be heard but it’s not that big of a deal. Airconditioning is on a groep setting and was set to heating while it was pretty warm, they could not switch this off and offered a fan.. I...
