« We loved our brief stay at the Queen’s. My husband had been taken ill on arrival in Lerwick and we had to change our plans to let him rest up. We booked last minute and were surprised to be able to still choose a twin room with sea view. The sea literally lapped outside our window and the view was stunning. The hotel has a fascinating history and is built actually into the sea so those who complained of damp should have gone some where else. The shower was great with loads of instant hot water...

« Niki and Piet have created a beautiful haven in their Mogill apartment. Nothing was too much trouble for them and with the added bonus of the sauna and hot tub, this turned into one of the best holidays we have experienced. We were able to relax and sit and watch the animals (including Tom and Jerry the goats) and birds and look out over the cliffs and sea.We were a little concerned when we booked that we were too far down South, but we needn't have worried. « The property is immaculate and beautiful, very comfortable with fabulous views. Location is great for exploring by car or on foot. Niki and Piet are really excellent hosts, very accommodating and great to talk to. The sauna and hot tub are fabulous too. We had such an enjoyable holiday, some highlights included getting married in Lerwick, a boat trip to Mousa and visiting the broch, exploring the Jarlshof site and walking across to St Ninians and walking around the island. 10/10! »
