'When I first read reviews of Tamarind, the reviews were mixed. I decided to take a chance and we couldn’t have been happier. The room was spacious and clean. The location of our room was fantastic, I walked out with my coffee every morning and was greeted by the ocean. The pool was right there and my daughter loved that. 'The room exceeded expectations. The pictures make it seem darker than it is. Very clean and perfectly stocked with pillows, towels, kitchenette items. I’m not sure if the restaurant is under the same management. The vibe was completely different from the restaurant staff. While no one was unpleasant, I didn’t find the staff friendly either. Mostly seemed inconvenienced by the patrons. Felt odd given the hotel side staff were all lovely. '

'Check in was very easy, our rooms were ready upon arrival. The front desk receptionist (Veronica, I think was her name) was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice, clean, and spacious. The bathroom was somewhat small but the overall space was nice. Having a microwave and refrigerator (mini) was so useful. The room was cold and the beds comfortable.
