'Comfortable, well appointed, welcoming, classy'

'Clean, quiet and comfortable accommodation just minutes walk from the beach. Very prompt, friendly and helpful communication from Janet. Highly recommended!'

'Very comfy beds and duvets. Well equipped kitchen with a few added extras to make our stay more enjoyable. Very clean house and lovely gardens. Thank to our host Laura for your hospitality and easy communication.'

'A nice renovated home with good comforts. Nothing flash but great for a beach holiday. Perfect. Great value for money.'

'Fantastic concept but lacks quality cooking items, a fridge way below capacity for the amount of guests that can be accommodated, no Wifi and lacks not having an 80 inch tv in the dining area to cater for sporting groups or large family gatherings etc. A beautiful place with an amazing view of the lake.'

'When choosing this beautiful location we were originally looking at staying in Opotiki (15 kms south) but decided this was a far better option based on the ammenities and views offered. The price was also less than staying in your standard motel in town. Our host was there to meet us and made us feel most welcome explaining the options and set up. He recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner ( The Royal) and we weren’t disappointed at all. The surrounding area is rich with native birds...

'Great location and quiet.'

'Emma and her family are fantastic hosts. So accommodating and checkin was a breeze :) The cute cabin was just what we needed. Lovely and clean. We only wished we could have stayed for longer. Many thanks!'

'Clean room, but no elevator.'

'Everything was fine!'
