'Nice spacious unit with everything you need. The TV was small and just free to air stations but I believe they are in the middle of upgrading TVs to all room. The motel apparently has spectacular views to Mt Taranaki but unfortunately there was too much fog and cloud during my visit to see it. Would definitely stay again if visiting Hawera'

'Fijne dagen uitgerust in deze fantastische lodge. Mooie kamer en badkamer. Sfeervol ingericht! Heerlijk ontbijt in mooie ruimte. Het huis is met liefde opgeknapt, donderdag en vrijdag is er een pop up restaurant in hun verbouwde church hall. Lekker eten!'

'Karen's house is very flash and was super comfortable for our family. We really enjoyed the man cave to watch the All Blacks. It was a perfect place for a weekend away.'

'An awesome wee place! Great location right in town. Log burner was prepped for us upon arrival and kept us warm at night. Comfy beds. Great comms and thoughtful touches from the owners. A helpful note for your holiday planning: there is no washing machine machine at the property.'

'Lovely host, very communicative. Had everything we needed and was a nice location by the ocean. The bach itself however was quite run down and had a lot of mold in the bathroom and a lot of flies. It felt like the host was living there and just left before we arrived. Alot of there stuff was still in the bach which was a bit awkward as we didn’t have any room to put our clothes etc. It didn’t feel very clean.'
