'We had a fabulous stay at 172a Longmeanygate. Such a quiet spot yet close access for the motorways. We got to the Lakes, Yorkshire Dales, Castle Howard and Bank Hall as well as visiting friends and relatives while we were here from New Zealand. The cottage was very well equipped but my husband's only critisism was that the bed was too small 🙃'

'Was bigger we expected, Very clean throughout comfortable full size beds, cleaning equipment like hoover, brush, dishwasher, even a washing machine. Highly recommend.'

'Lovely spacious lodge. Plenty of room for all the family. Ideally placed within the park. Very close to the entertainment areas, but still nice and quiet. Would definitely book again. '

'More a self catering flat than an hotel however We were happy with it. It is in the suburbs of St Helens a distance from the town centre. St Helens Junction train station is about 5 mins walk, and a good little cafe for breakfast less than 2 mins walk. The area was quiet at night and there are a couple of local shops equally close for such things as milk for drinks.We used it as a base to explore the area hence we only used the kettle and the wifi. Would be happy to use again.'
