'We were greeted with a warm welcome by Steve. The room was clean and well thought out. Shower pressure and bathroom excellent. We went for dinner at the nearby pub, which was recommended to us and didn't disappoint. Close to Palmerston North, nice and quiet. We have already booked again.'

'We had an awesome 2 nights at Hawkestone hideaway, beautiful accommodation and the views are spectacular. Very quiet and our dogs totally loved having so much safe space to be, the walks were beautiful and a great way to tire out the pups. It was so lovely to have all the extras that were thoughtfully provided by the hosts, felt very welcome. Great travelling distance to Whanganui so easy to get the beach etc but really not a requirement as the property is just amazing. Thank you and we will...

'Kia ora! We used this whare as a research retreat to do some writing and some deep thinking. The accommodations were lovely, clean, and tidy. An extra nice touch was a load of wood being dropped off at the whare if we needed it, and a 10% discount at the cafe, literally at the end of the driveway, was very convenient and a lovely touch of hospitality. Thank you, Emma, for looking after the crew. Highly recommend'
