'Great little house for our quick overnight stay. Fireplace was a welcome to the cold night. Thanks again'

'Very clean. There is a tiny view of the lake and you are one house off the main road so it’s noisy on the deck. The mountains are pretty but, Looks much more like there is a big view than there is. '

'After a long journey, arrived to a room that had not been cleaned from last guests. Called owner to complain and he offered us the room next door which was prepared fro new guests. We accepted but felt the room wasn’t as clean as it should be. We asked for a discount but was refused. I felt it was overpriced. '

'There was a lot of space for the five of us. However, there should have been more towels. We each got one bath towel. We could have used some washcloths and an extra hand towel for the toilet room, which comes with a sink. It would have been helpful to have a shelf or hook in the bathrooms. The washer/dryer unit did not dry. So we had to hang up our clothes and iron some to dry them before checkout the following morning. The frypan was well worn.'

'Very clean well appointed accommodation. We stayed in the 2 bedroom section, beds comfy and quiet location. '

'Good communication with host, clear instructions for contactless entry. Modern apartment with a good kitchen and washing machine, comfortable bed. However the apartment is a bit run down with damage to the walls from furniture, the floor mat in the lounge is stained, there is mould in the shower, weeds and cigarette butts in the garden. If these were fixed, I would rate this property as a 5/5. The location was good, a quiet complex, deficated parking and a nice little outdoor area.'

'The only thing we had problem we encountered was no written instructions how to operate the 2 in 1 washer/dryer. We washed our clothes without problems. But, couldn’t figure out how to operate the “dryer” mode. We had to go look for a laundry mat to dry our clothes.'

'This was our favorite stay in NZ! We were in the Tekapo room with direct views of the gorgeous turquoise lake, mountains, and Church of the Good Shepherd. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine at nigh, sitting on our private patio overlooking the lake. The room is fabulously appointed - very eclectic! It literally took 2 minutes to walk to the city center then down to the lake. We had a toaster, microwave and fridge - all we needed to enjoy a quick breakfast or afternoon snack. Really...

'We had a really lovely stay in Tekapo. The place was clean, cozy, and very comfortable, and everything we needed was well prepared. The kitchen is well equipped.'

'Lovely 3 bedroom cottage, very cosy, we visited Tekapo when it was quite cold, cottage was easy to keep warm. We really enjoyed our stay.'
