'Dear all at the Kumarakom Lake Resort,
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your wonderful Lake Resort. Everyone at the resort, from start to finish, was ever so helpful.
We especially enjoyed the gardens and the meandering pool the most. The afternoon tea in the garden and all the activities programmes arranged at the resort are excellent. The evening sunset trip on the lake and the music on the boat added to our enjoyment.

'Zuri's outside property is nice with gardens and man made lagoon (as you see in pics) but that'it. Further nothing else which impresses you. This is certainly not a 5 star property. Please do not pay 5* price for the same. The hotel is quite old and you see it everywhere, be it your room furniture, bathroom or even the hotels all day dining restaurant. 'We booked a pool villa which was spacious and allowed for an extra bed and selerate room for our teenage son. The villa was clean with good amenities, the pool was nice for cooling off when the main pool was busier but was a little small.
The main pool area was lovely and warm with view of the lake and much needed lake breeze.
There isn't much in walking distance but the main attraction is the lake and views. We were able to hop into a rickshaw for shops, ATM and bird sanctuary.
