'Exactly what it says in the listing. Not polished or flash but cosy and full of character in a lovely setting, close to walks in the gorge, op shops in Paeroa and the Te Aroha thermal pools. Felt very welcome and nothing like an outdoor bath under the stars!'

'Had a great couple of nights. Excellent wheelchair access, amazing sea view, friendly chickens, delicious free apples. Perfect spot if you're heading to Miranda to view shore birds.'

'This was an excellent place to stay. We were given a warm welcome by the host and several dogs! The tiny house was in a paddock with sheep, a horse and chickens but was so peaceful. It was very clean and comfortable and, although compact, it had everything we needed including some breakfast items. We enjoyed listening to the birds and loved it so much that we wished we had been staying longer. If you want a peaceful retreat, this is the place to go.'

'We all thought 1st impression it was a very cute house. Very tidy and had everything provided for you. The host was very nice and just a phone call away. One thing that was mentioned was the number of the house wasnt visible for a taxi to know which house it was to pick us up at. Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would tell friends of this cottage if they need to stay in Waihi.'

'We love going to Whiritoa, and this bach didn't disappoint! Nice wee modern bach a quick walk from the southern end of the beach. Good amenities, and comfy rooms. Heat pump for comfort if needed. Good communication with the owner. We enjoyed our little getaway, thanks!'
